Para marcar o Dia Internacional da Pessoa com Deficiência, em 3 de dezembro, estamos lançando o Guia de Direitos: Pessoa com deficiência intelectual, capacidade jurídica e tomada de decisão apoiada, na versão acessível a pessoas com deficiência intelectual e baixo letramento.

O material, produzido em parceria com a Ordem dos Advogados (OAB) Nacional e de São Paulo, Ministério Público do Estado de São Paulo e Associação Nacional das Defensoras e Defensores Públicos (ANADEP), faz parte de um conjunto de ações financiadas pela Open Society Foundations, visando contribuir para a mudança de práticas sociais e jurídicas que ainda impedem as pessoas com deficiência de exercerem a sua autonomia e independência, favorecendo assim o efetivo exercício de sua capacidade jurídica.

O guia, que está disponível no site ijc.org.br, apresenta um olhar mais atual sobre a deficiência, de acordo com a Convenção sobre os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência da ONU. O intuito é ampliar o entendimento e a percepção das pessoas com deficiência e suas famílias, dos integrantes do Sistema de Justiça e do público em geral sobre a capacidade jurídica, a tomada de decisão apoiada e outros direitos diretamente relacionados, ao apresentar, de forma simples e objetiva, informações práticas sobre o assunto.

Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, nosso Serviço de Inclusão Profissional e Longevidade conquistou o Selo Municipal de Direitos Humanos e Diversidade, organizado pela Secretaria Municipal de Direitos Humanos e Cidadania de São Paulo, órgão da Prefeitura da capital paulista.

A premiação, que teve em 2021 a sua quarta edição, tem como objetivo reconhecer boas práticas de gestão da diversidade e promoção dos direitos humanos em empresas, órgãos públicos e organizações do terceiro setor. Neste ano, fomos reconhecidos pelo trabalho de inclusão profissional de pessoas com deficiência intelectual e autismo, com o case Inclusão Profissional de Pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual e Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) em meio à pandemia.

A English Live juntou-se ao IJC para oferecer a pessoas com deficiência intelectual capacitação gratuita na língua inglesa. O projeto ofereceu, inicialmente, 15 bolsas de estudo de 100% para jovens apoiados em nossos serviços.

Com a evolução do programa, poderão ser abertas mais oportunidades. Os alunos têm acesso ao sistema da escola on-line de inglês gratuitamente e podem realizar o curso de acordo com seu nível de inglês. As aulas são apoiadas por profissionais que atuam no Telecentro da Prefeitura de São Paulo instalado no IJC

Projeto visa facilitar a compreensão da sociedade sobre doenças raras e o Teste do Pezinho.

Com o objetivo de sensibilizar e conscientizar a população a respeito da ampliação do Teste do Pezinho pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e da importância de sua realização para a detecção precoce de dezenas de doenças raras, nosso Centro de Ensino, Pesquisa e Inovação (CEPI) está lançando o Projeto #OutraDR.

A área de Gestão de Pessoas encerrou em novembro a 1ª edição do Protagonizando, criado este ano com o objetivo de preparar nossos funcionários para novos desafios. O programa contou com palestras de profissionais de diversas áreas do mercado, além de atividades dinâmicas, em grupo e individuais. Foram abordados temas técnicos, comportamentais e de gestão.

O Protagonizando teve a participação de 26 funcionários de todas as áreas da Organização, que foram preparados para se destacarem em atividades estratégicas. A área já está organizando a 2ª edição do programa, que deve ocorrer em 2022.
